The Chase family began in the boating and outdoor recreation business in 1946. William Chase, sometimes known as, "Wild Bill", and his wife Francis began our legacy at Lake Macbride with a beach and boat rental. Their children, and their grand children grew up in that business, and now their great grand children have continued that unbroken legacy and have been at Mid River Marine on the Coralville reservoir for the last 37 years, it is in our DNA.
